SUMMARY:Sports Homecoming Event at Old Anniesland
DESCRIPTION:We will be displaying the rich history of sporting achievement at Old Anniesland on Saturday 23rd March 2024 with a series of events and matches for current and former pupils\, parents\, staff and our wider school community. \nIt could be an opportunity for parents to play against their child\, and for former pupils to meet up once again and pull on the chocolate and gold or blue strip once more. \nHOCKEY\nThe hockey will take the format of Hockey 5’s and teams can be submitted to participate\, or you can submit your name as an individual and we can allocate you to a team. The hockey festival will run from 9.30am-12.30pm on our sand-based and water-based Astros at Old Anniesland \nRUGBY\nThe format of the rugby festival will be a 7-a-side touch rugby tournament\, allowing current pupils to play against former pupils and parent teams. This event will run from 10am-1pm on our five grass rugby pitches at Old Anniesland. As with the hockey\, teams can be submitted to participate\, or you can submit your name as an individual and we can allocate you to a team. \nWe would ask that all interested teams and individuals click on this link to complete the registration form. Food will be available on the day and the Pavilion Bar will be open from early afternoon and throughout the evening for anyone wishing to catch up with old friends. \nTours of the Senior School at Old Anniesland will also be available on the afternoon of Saturday 23rd March between 2pm-4pm for anyone who wishes to reacquaint themselves with the School buildings. \nWe hope to have a large number of teams entered to make it an event to remember!

A lot has changed in that time and as we never managed to organise a 10 year reunion\, I thought it was high time we got together. DESCRIPTION:With a landmark anniversary approaching for The High School of Glasgow in 2024\, we are delighted to share our plans for a High School Dinner on Friday 5th May 2023\, taking place at Glasgow Golf Club from 6.30pm. \nThis will be a fantastic opportunity to bring a number of our alumni and wider school community together as we look ahead to the School’s 900th anniversary celebrations. \nTickets for this event cost £50pp and can be booked online. Included with your ticket price will be a glass of fizz upon arrival\, a 3-course dinner and entertainment. \nThe dress code is formal attire\, and partners are very welcome. \nHave you got a group of friends from the school community interested in joining us for this event? Great news! You can book tables of either 6 or 12 to ensure you’re seated together. To book a table\, please ensure the correct number of tickets are in your basket before checking out. \nAlternatively\, let us know of other guests you’d like to be seated next to and we will try our very best to accommodate your requests. \nSpaces are limited so make sure to book early.
