At the London Scottish Schools Golf Day back in June, FPs from Kelvinside Academy challenged HSOG FPs to an annual golf match. This was accepted with relish by the HSOG Captain, Ian Farr (Class of 1966).

Due to his strong family connections with Kelvinside, Ian kindly put up a silver Cup – the GHK London Golf Cup – which will be competed for each year.

Despite HSOG putting up strong competition, Kelvinside were deemed the worthy winners this year. The competition was hosted at the Clandon Regis Golf Club.

The GHK London Golf Club was officially presented to Kelvinside’s London Section President, John Burleigh, at their annual dinner in November. Guests at this thoroughly enjoyable evening included former HSOG Rector, Colin Mair.
