Smashing 65-year reunion celebrations for the Class of 1960
, by HSOG Community
Saturday 14th June marked the third reunion of the Summer Term as 12 members of the Class of 1960 gathered together at the Pavilion at Old Anniesland for an afternoon of reminiscing and memory-making.
The group were celebrating a momentous 65 years since bidding farewell to the former boys’ school situated at Elmbank Street. We’re sure plenty of anecdotes and stories of teachers and pupils past were shared throughout the day!
School caterers, Compass, were on hand to provide a delicious buffet spread ranging from summertime salads and delectable desserts, whilst the Pavilion’s bar supplied the refreshments.
Class year organiser, Raymond Williamson, said of the occasion: “We had a superb reunion and everyone was most appreciative of the arrangements and catering.” We hope to welcome you all back to the High School again in the near future!
If you’re interested in hosting your own class year reunion, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the External Relations Team via email at development@hsog.co.uk or by telephone on 0141 954 9628. We’d be happy to discuss the different options available and help bring your reunion vision to life.
